Think this maybe a keeper

This one shows the bellies of all the other babies. Their all brown but I thought motleys had clear bellies.

Posted - 18/07/2013 : 11:11:05 By 'clear bellies' in motleys it means no belly chequers - which your little guys don't have so that is correct :) I expect they will lighten up a bit as they grow, but it's also common to get bleeding of colour the further down the body you go. Ember (amel stripe) has bright white ventrals under her chin and first part of the body, but it is very orange the rest of the way down :)
Congrats on some gorgeous little hatchies there, not surprised you are considering keeping that little one. I'm also eager to know what comes out of the giant egg lol! |

Posted - 18/07/2013 : 01:07:56 Check out pics of my George He's a motley and his belly is sufused with salmony pink near the tail. I've been told there is a Gene for Pink which has yet to be isolated kind of like 'coral snows' but in other colours esp.Anery/Ghost morphs-they are cracking little babies whatever they are |
