hiya,

recently toby has bitten both my mom and my grandad. These were both when i was away. He bit my mom when he was out (she didnt startle, or hurt him) and bit my grandad when he was simply changing his water.

these are both people who toby knows and has been left with multiple times over the years. he isnt hungry or anything i can think which means he bites them.

as soon as i am home he comes out to me and is my friend - anyone any ideas as to why he is doing this?!!?!

thank you!!

Mine can be dodgy when changing their water as they think I'm food or are sound asleep.
For that, make sure you go slowly - stroke them or something so they know it's you and giving them time to wake up before being scooped up.
As for when they are out. Does your mum have any other pets she may have been in contact with, and therefore smell of?
