It's that time where it's comming up to me buying frozen food and rather than loosing the links as I use so many PC's, I thought I may share my links with you lovely people :3 Feel free to suggest more places and any kinda reviews or whatever.

I use RSR normally as they have been the cheapest for me and the amount I'm allowed in the freezer with P+P 3 times in a row, they did forget a pack of small mice once but they sent me it next day.

I use livefood uk based in somerset www.livefoods.co.uk
I ordered 50 fuzzies at a cost of £15 & 50 medium Locusts £4.63 + £2.58 p+p they MAP pack the mice so they stay fresh in the post.

I've never had a problem with them insects are always a good size and good quality this is the first time I've ordered mice from them and not opened the packets yet

I always use http://rsreptilesupplies.co.uk/. Never had a problem.

Mamma, taken this from their site. It might help.

Q: I live in the Highlands/a remote area will my order still arrive next day?
Orders to most areas can be guaranteed for a next day delivery, however some areas our couriers simply cannot guarantee this service. Deliveries to the Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, the Highlands and some remote areas are not guarnteed as a next day service. If you are ordering frozen food or livefood to these areas we advise placing your orders before 1pm on a Wednesday to guarantee they are received before the weekend. Deliveries to these areas are undertaken at the customers own risk, we cannot accept responsibility for orders which arrive defrosted where a guaranteed services was not used. Postcodes affect are: IV, KW1-14, PA34, PA37-39, PH19-40, PH41 Sector 4 and PH49-50.

If anyone wants to add a link I or one of the other mods will add it to the top post and we should get a few decent online suuppliers for frozen

I got my frozen food today from RSR, they posted it at 2pm yesterday, arrived today at 10am and I didn't even pay for special delivery, just the cheap £5.99 one, came all frozen and stayed frozen until 5pm, probably would have stayed frozen longer but had to move them into freezer, comes already with dry ice so need to pay for extra :P my order just came cheaper than it would with TSM this time round.
Mort13 Posted - 21/01/2012 : 10:03:05
They recommended I have the dry ice option. Weird thing is,both times I've totalled the price of the mice and delivery up not counting the dry ice option and its turned out cheaper than my total with the dry ice added (not that I'm complaining!)
I've never ordered without so I can't compare, but the mice arrived more frozen than if I'd got them from the shop 5 minutes drive away so I'm happy, plus the kids get to watch the dry ice evaporating in the garden.....they think its amazing lol.
Sta~ple Posted - 20/01/2012 : 21:55:06
I thought about using frozen direct as they are cheaper than TSM for the amount of mice I order but RSR is cheaper every time and my deliveries are always come really early in the morning. I didn't pay for before 12 or 1 or anything and got my orders at 7. I also don't like the idea of ordering buy phone on TSM, as you can't do it online :/ Mort, do you get the extra dry ice option with TSM as I wonder if you ever really need it or not?
kdlang Posted - 20/01/2012 : 12:54:09
I used to use frozen direct. They are good pricewise and with delivery but the last couple of times I have ordered from them I have been very disapointed with the sizes of the mice they sent out. eg I ordered a batch of fuzzies but alot I had to give to a friend as pinkies as they were only a few grams although they were furry like fuzzies. I also ordered a load of large mice and quite a few were more in the weight range of mediums. I expect some to be out of the average weight range but when it seems the majority are then I get brassed off, especially when I am then having to go and buy more large mice from my local rep shop at double the price.
ScalySituation Posted - 20/01/2012 : 10:25:40
cos i only got one snakey i just get her fuzzies frm the pet shop, (not pah may i point out) price are pretty high, but they're a good size and never had problems
Mort13 Posted - 20/01/2012 : 09:39:25
Good thread Stapey.

I've used TSM a couple of times, had no issues and the snakes seem happy with what they got. I look about each time though as what you're ordering can affect whether one retailer is cheaper than another.
Up to now they've worked out the cheapest for me.

Not worth buy food online unless your have like 5 snakes+ really I found because of postage and the fact they shoudl only really stay in your freezer for 3-6 months, unless your buying with other stuff?
