Hi guys, my corn snake poops once every 2 days but after reading around it sounds like this is abnormal.

I think his poo looks healthy - It kinda looks like fat gold fish poo (thin but fat? (if that makes sense)).

He never seems to do it in one big pile, he just seems to dot it around the tank every 2 days.

He is active and always eats his meals.

He is also 2 years old.

Should I be worried or am I paranoid?

I think your issue of poo has been answered ....but I do agree with Smartbunny about what he is being fed. If you are moving him up to mediums then I suggest you still feed him weekly rather than move him to ever 10 days. You may find A VERY ROUGH guide to feeding helpful.

As for loading pics, you need to work out how because I want to see pics of Liquid ! Hopefully this will help - How to post images using Photobucket ....although it is playing up at the moment . There is a way using Facebook but I'm afraid I don't know how .

Xxx

At 2yrs old I would have thought he should 'probably' be on bigger than small mice (unless he is a slow grower or just small as some corns are and that is perfectly OK!!). Corno will be 2 at the end of August and has been on larges for a while - but then she has always been a good eater and fast grower. Ember has always been much smaller and thinner, she is 17 months and on smalls, but I would expect her to be up to mediums before she is 2. Maybe with a bigger meal he may end up just doing one or two larger poops?

If it looks like that, I should think he's doing fine :) whats his name? do you know what morph (colour) he is?

Hah, corn snake poop doesn't bother me. :P

I found this picture on google and it almost looks exactly the same as it does when my corn snake poops. Only, it is just 2 'strands' of poop.

(sorry, I don't directly know how to open pictures on the forums)

Sounds good to me :)

It could be that as your handling him your stimulating him to poop more often :)

I know it sounds icky but next time he poops could you pop a pic up? Just so we can check it all looks normal :)

Hi and thank you. :)

I feed him one small mouse every 7 days but I am going to start feeding him 1 medium every 10 days.

I have 1 small mouse left to feed him in the freezer.

Hi there, welcome to the forum :)

What's he eating?

Some will poop more than others

edit* He is also handled almost every day for about 15 minutes / half an hour - but only after he has finished the 2 day waiting period after I have fed him.
