I've not been too good at keeping up with the forum lately sorry.

One reason is that I've had to make the heart breaking decision to let some of my animals go as my mum isn't well and between appointments and spending time with her plus my job, coursework and being a single mum too it means I'm really struggling with time.
Four of my snakes went to new homes in the last week and its absolutely killing me seeing them go to be honest

So far Jaime the male Gopher, Domino the Cali king, Ollivander and Olivia the Olive housies and Kalypso the Ultramel Anery corn have gone. More need to go but I'm struggling with the decision of which ones

I will try to get on here more, but wanted to let people know of this so as they don't wonder why I've not posted pics of some of my babies and so I don't get asked and get upset as I'm a bit of an emotional wreck.

Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately my mum has Alzheimers Razee so its going to get worse rather than better and I couldn't ask someone to take on the care of any of my animals when we've such a long road ahead. I'm just being extremely picky over who they go to

I've decided to stick with mainly corns plus the odd other species I have an extra soft spot for, partly due to a loss in confidence with the boas (most likely due to my state of mind at present as they've never bit me so there's no reason for me to feel that way)

Oh no, i am so sorry xx

I'm so sorry to hear that, Mort...and I'm sorry I don't live closer to you. I used to be a carer for my granny ( and it was 24 hour care ) plus full time job, plus a dog and a horse, and I know how difficult and exhausting it is.

Is there anyone close to you, that could perhaps temporarily take on some of your snakeys, so they wouldn't have to be sold, and you could have them back, when everything settles? And maybe get the kids to help as much as possible, to take some strain of you...

Sending virtual hugs... Don't give up, it WILL get better.

I feel for you. I can't imagine how I would cope without all my brood. They help keep in going, even if it's a struggle at times. I know my disabilities would seem much worse without my 'babies' to care for and enjoy.
Sending you love and hugs xx

Thankyou, yes its very hard especially when its something you don't want to do.
I didn't even get to advertise Kalypso, she went last week Abbi. Absolutely broke my heart as I've had her since 2 weeks old
She has fab owners though who are regularly updating me and sending me pics, they also have one of the babies I bred last year so I couldn't be any happier in that sense.
