Hi all.
Thought I'd let you know that I very sadly had to say goodbye to Sonny yesterday.
Heart is so heavy but at least I have the others to help me heal.

Really doesn't.
Such a hole in my heart.

It's such an awful and painful decision to make, but it sounds like there was no choice, and you saved her from so much pain. Still, doesn't make it any easier on us, does it...xx

We (both vet and I) thought she was egg bound again.
Turned out it was faecoliths (over calcified poop)
Nothing could be done to shift them, vet said she would very soon be in a lot of pain and discomfort so I made the tough decision to help her on her way.
It hurt really really bad

I'm really sorry to hear your news :-( xxx

Oh no, l'm so sorry to hear that - what happened ? And Sonny was your first snake, too...( sending virtual hugs )

I know it's not much of a consolation, but look at it like this - while she was with you, you gave her a good life, and you looked after her well. She's had better life with you than she could have had with many other people out there, and certainly much better than if she'd had to fend for herself in the wild, so hold onto that thought...
