I have some and they have been pooped on a lot... I just have to wait for it to dry and scrape it off and then squirt with disinfectant and wash although it doesn't get rid of all the poop XD

I don't use these but I don't see why not.

I'd use an animal safe disinfectant such as f10. Just make sure the hide is completely dry before putting it back in with snakey.
