Basil getting fed in his new vivarium (will try to upload pictures). I tried to lay some kitchen roll down so he wouldn't get bedding stuck to the mouse but he didn't seem to want to go onto it. Typical lol.

Do you ever get used to it? This is only my second time feeding a snake and I can't help but jump

Nice video, just what my Bazil does, too, the mad coiling -)

You can entice them on to the kitchen towel, by backing away with the mouse, but if your Basil is anything like mine, he will then drag the mouse backwards to where HE wants it :-)

You do get used to the mad strikes ( to certain extend, lol ) - but sometimes, even now, they can surprise me with especially mental and fast strikes.
