Hi folks
My 9 month old motley, Maisie, shed on Thursday night (her first with me). When I got up in the morning her tank was like a scene from Apocalypse Now! Shed skin in the water bowl, around the water bowl, in the hide, on top of the hide, behind the hide, water spilt everywhere, the hide itself shoved out of position. She must have done some thrashing about the place, but all seems well. Kinda disappointed it didn't come off in 1 piece like some photos I've seen, but happy she's through to and back to her old self. Anybody else got a maelstrom shedder? |

My Kelloggs has just done this, it's the first time he's had a bad shed. I found the head bit as well, and instantly thought Silence of the lambs. |

are the essential bit of shed accounted for - tail tip and head including eye caps? it would be worth giving her a good check over for any remaining bits as ideally they should be removed. |
