i recently bought a new corn snake and it was a patternless black corn snake. i was on the internet looking for a pic si photoshop my snakes together but i can't find it anywhere. i have been in 3 pet shops and none of them has heard of it. is there such a morph are have i been ripped off?
and btw it aint a black king snake it is deffo a corn.
been to the rep shop today and the guy reckons it a rare breed worth £200 dunno if this is true or not hope someone out there can help me. i also have a question on the breeding forum if anyone could help. thanks
the head markings make me think its corn snake but i think its likely a rat snake. It might be a breed of black and yellow rat snakes like theses here: http://www.uga.edu/srelherp/snakes/elaobs.htm
no expert all i know is, thats one cool ass snake so a great find. probably best not to mix it with your other corn snakes just incase it turns out not to be a corn.
has anyone dealt with Strictly Reptiles in London? if so are they a decent company as i have rang them about my black corn snake and the woman there told me that it is a new and rare species of corn snake. i haven't got a clue what to believe anymore. if it is new breed of corn then why has no-one heard of it and why is there no infomation on websites. if it is a rat snake (like i assume it will be) why are pets shops telling me otherwise.
