Due to circumstances, my brother has moved in with me and bought his two snakes (1 female creamsickle and 1 male baids rat snake). This was my first introduction to cornsnakes (i've held snakes, but never had experience of having one as a pet)
Both my wife and I have decided that when he moves out, we are going to get a snake of our own.
Seeing as his two are refusing to mate (4 and 5 years old, cohabiting in viv large enough for the both of them, and both making the right 'twitching' moves, but never mating) it means we are on the lookout.
I have a few questions though.
If bought as hatchling, how long is it before they would outgrow a fawnarium? Does anyone know anyone with hatchling anery(pref anery type b, or charcoal), as I think they look amazing?
Look forward to any advice for a future cornsnake owner, and to contributing to the forum.
I'm in north buckinghamshire, and am looking to make it to one of the shows this year.
Cheers

Hello and welcome
A hatchling corn could live in the biggest faun for up to 12 months, but should not be started in the biggest model.
I cant help you with the buying, but there is a good caresheet on the home page of the site if you want to do more reaserch. |

Thanks for that, I think I'll stick a 'wanted' note in the "Reptiles for sale/re-homing" section |

Hi and welcome.
Prob best to call round your local rep shops to see what they have in stock. Anerys are quite common so it shouldn't be too difficult finding one. |
