there is no benifits to feeding a corn chicks. a day old chick is going to be to big for most corns. i have some in the freezer and they are about 35-50grams and they have a high fat content

i wasnt gonna do it as every feed, just as a change as i cant get hold of anything other than mice rats or chicks in my area and every so often my corn wont take her feed or wont keep it down but if i then change her an give her a rat as a treat shes back to normal, so just wondered if they would be ok just to keep her from being fussy and as a change once a month or so, plus when i got her she was under weight and she is still under but gaining nice and steady now and the last thing i want is her going fussy like she did for the last owners

your snake would need to be around the 400g mark to take a chick but i would stick with mice and the occassional rat. if your snake is reguring often then there could be an underlying problem either with its health or the set up.

i used to give my big male chicks as a treat, but then he had a problem with their scratchy little feet and went off them.

i couldn't feed a chick to a snake, i cn just about handle a mouse, i think it's quite cruel because u don't need to.

the amazing colour of the cornsnake, as it glides through the feild, never a mistake
so as not to wake
the hapless prey before it, this may as well roll over and close it's eyes as the silent hunter shall always get his prize.
the forked tounge can smell you mouse, red eyes can see you stir, if she does not wake and run now, that will be the end of her.

my kids love feeding the snakes no matter what it is, but why is a chicks life more valuable than a mouse or a rat then? and we dont moan when we got a sunday roast with a nice big fat chicken on the table, its the same thing
