Pop him into a warm damp pillow case for 30 minutes then check on him if its still not come off leave him a little longer. Its usually a humidity problem that causes it the air being too dry. I found that using a light during the day caused my problems with humidity. Next time you notice him going into blue pop a damp not wet moss hide in for him to curl up in. I do this for mine and they love it and it makes shedding easier for the snake. Make sure you secure the top of the pillow case. Try not to panic I now it can be very distressing for both you and the snake.

It might help if you notice him going blue next time to put his water in the wram end and add some moist, not wet, sphagnum moss to a hide to help him shed easier.

In a faun, putting the water in the warm end wont do much to the humidity, as any evaporated water from the bowl will just vent out of the faun. You'd be better with a moss box where any moisture and humidity is contained, either make your own or buy one. A tub with a hole with spagnum moss in it (moist not wet) will do though I have the exo-terra snake cave, I have a vivarium and I monitor the humidity with a hygrometer (not everyone does), I keep 30-50% humidity normally and up it to around 60% once Spot starts to show signs of shedding. Higher humidity is not a good idea long term, just make provisions at shedding time.

It might be worth adding the extra hide if he only has one or he may feel he is only safe in the warm end. I use a small plastic pot with the lid removed and lay ing on its side. Put some moss in it only slightly damp. When he goes into blue make sure it is damp. I leave my moss hides in all the time and just let them dry out when they are not in blue. They seem to like them damp or dry!

Hmm that sounds like a good idea. I've started giving the warm end a quick spray when Izzys in blue but leaving some moss in there sounds like a plan, especially like how you said
