My friends snake has been stolen :(
Shes moved to spain for 6months so she arranged for one of her friends to foster her Royal python while she was abroad. Her friend couldnt pick it up for two days untill after she went to spain. The girl who was moving into my friends flat was a friend of hers (though I know her as well and think shes a something I'd probably get banned from theforum for saying) so she asked her if it was ok to leave the snake there for two days untill it got picked up, which she said she was fine with. Once they'd left the country she sold the snake to some one else. :(
Some people are really nasty. I'm so angry for my friend. We know the name of the person who bought the snake but no one knows where he lives!? |

The person who sold the snake I believe could get arrested for theft and a couple other things I cannot think of right now.
Unfortunately the only person who can really press any charges is the owner. |

| Oh that's awful :( maybe a local paper or something? Or demand that the person who sold the snake at least give the owner the money. I hope it works out for your friend. |

It's bad news that she has lost out on the sale.
But leaving a snake with a friend for 6 months?
I wouldn't be able to do it.
Even though she wasn't actually gone for 6 months, I wouldn't ever leave my snakes with anyone else for any period of time.
Well there is maybe 1 or 2, but they are lifelong breeders, who i know wouldn't sell it/them.
Maybe just a harsh lesson to be learned. |
