so I've got a sock and put it in the faun...is there a specific time that I should leave it in there for before picking her up as I just put my hand in and she just got in her hide and stared at me as if to say 'what do you want?..' |

Just treat her the same as normal. The idea of the sock is that it has your smell on it and hopefully she will associate your smell with somewhere safe and secure. Did you tuck it in your top for the day before you put it in with her to make sure you get as much of 'you' on it as possible? |

That should be ok. Just leave it in with her. Don't worry that she had a go at it to start with, she'll settle down and it should help her get used to your smell. My snakes all still have the odd bit of sock in with them. My Sidney always sleeps on his sock.....bless him!! |

She's calmed down now and used it to either sit on and try and head butt the lid open or as a climbing frame, she's so sweet :) but she has calmed down a bit now so I'll try and get her out in a bit |
