 Akito is the female, who is brighter coloured.
 Daisuke is the male, who's just a bit darker.
 
 Not sure if you can the difference on the pictures however :L

 All been fine.
 
 Vets said its fine to keep them together along with the pet shop.

 It's really not a good idea to keep a male and female together all of the time. They will end up breeding before the female is mature which can be very dangerous for her, even deadly. It's not advised to even keep adults together because the male will keep pestering the female and she could end up really stressed.
