My 10-year-old daughter Beth had to run her own Cubs meeting tonight so she elected to take in our snakes and Rankins Dragon. She was amazing. Eleven 8 to 10 year olds sat enraptured on a cold floor as she spoke for over 30 minutes without prompts or notes on natural habitats and behaviours, feeding, housing, shedding, morphs, species and individual specific personalities and so on. She showed them sheds and feeding pics and afterwards let the children hold Keydo and Twilight. Keydo and Saracen behaved impecibly, especially Saracen who can get a little twitchy (we showed him but only Beth and I handled him just incase he got stressed). Twilight was very naughty - the instant he was out of his box he was in Beth's top, round her back and tied up in her bra!! Cue lots of sniggering from the little boys. Beth was really confident, all her facts were correct, she answered every question she was asked and even threw in a few jokes. Proud mum doesn't cover it.

Great that she's so confidant, even at 24 yrs old I'd run away from a crowd of 10 yr olds!
