Hey, Im new! Good to be here

Just wondering if anyone caught deadly 60 which was on tv recently?
Really cool show. Loads of venomous snakes and stuff!

Definitely worth watching

Some of us quite often watch Deadly 60, even though it is supposed to be a kids programme.
I believe that Steve Backshall has a bit of a fan club with some of the ladies on this forum as well, although he obviously doesn't hold a candle to me.

Haha, yes he is quite a looker :D

I always enjoyed Deadly 60, it's clever how the show can be enjoyed across the ages!

I think Deadly 60 is brill,my kids and I always watch it. My sons also bought himself the book.
I wouldn't say no to Steve Backshall either!!!

I still by my comment that he has a moon face. Not my cuppa tea. But the shows are good... I sit and watch them with my kids

Never seen Deadly 60, will need to keep an eye out for it.

I did watch Steve on another programme the other week about venoms, where he put on gloves with bullet ants weaved into it and was stung hundreds of times (apparently it's literally the most painful sting you can get) ....... Not sure why he would put himself through that but I enjoyed the programme.

he did that because it is a rite of passage, he wanted in on the community he was visiting, and thats what he had to do to be considered a man!
Have a look and see what other tribes make people do, really we have it very easy!

That bullet ant program was brill. I love anything about tribes and their beliefs/customs. Tribe with Bruce Parry was brill.

haha, maybe we should try and get it going again!

I read somewhere he's doing a Deadly 60 episode on sea life: whale shark, Marlin and the Crown of Thorns Starfish! Looks exciting :D
