The OH sister has a Royal Ball Python, we went for a visit, the snake was very pink under neath and they were concerned, so i said use my name here, take a pic and ask,as every one here is so friendly and helpfull, he said he would make a username. He went to the Royal Python forum that is on here, Is that the dreaded dark side? |

Good, as from what was said in posts about the dark side they are not a very nice bunch! it is from here they signed up to the python forum. So they will get the good advice they need! |

I go on there a bit. Its just that theres a hell of a lot of people on there so theres more chance of coming across opinionated people. Theres some really friendly helpful people too. This forum is the friendliest I've come across though. |

there is 2000+ people on here, and 70,000+ on the other site, there are a lot of very very knowledable people on there, more per volume than here, by far. Its funny, a lot of people on here that slate it, are infact members! Oh well, if you want to close yourself off to some potentially useful info, then thats your choice! I know some people on there are not overly nice, but this is the internet, you dont have to involve yourself with them. |

Lol no i dont know her, it would be Scott or Pam, dont know if they would use first names in screen name! they were worried but were told that the belly going pink could mean getting ready to shed, the last python died after bad sheds, this one had a bad shed also, so can understand the panic,Why i said you lot were such a nice helpfull bunch!! |

it's fine as long as you have a good basic grounding of snakecare, have a thick skin, don't troll, can trawl through the utter sh** and b1tching and 'look but don't touch'

I am a member of the dark side but feel that the cornsnake forum is more suitable for people like myself, more interested in corns as pets rather than breeing machines (not that everyone on there is like that). I know there are several members on here that also breed but also have the snakes as pets and are happy to discuss pet snake problems more so than those on RFUK. |

I find this forum to be populated by much friendlier people than RFUK. They do not seem overly tolerant of beginners over there. On here I find that most of the (daft) questions that I may have had already been asked and answered very patiently. Although I havent posted on here very much people feel like friends. |

TCS will always be more specific by the very nature of it being a corn-based forum i think we're a pretty friendly bunch (but unfortunately i don't tolerate opinionated numpties very well!) |

I find that rfuk is all about buying and selling I looked on there to find my snakes (which was a total mistake as I didn't get much help at all) Then I came to this site and have found that the people on here are so much friendlier and offer some great advice too plus I have found all my snakes on here too :-) |
