Well i am yet again a very happy snake mummy!

Chilli as always put on her big song and dance constricting her mouse rolling round her viv just to make sure it was dead.

And have given charlie his first feed with me and he ate it up no problem. not quite as dramatic as chilli, he just calmly took hold of it and took it back to his corner to eat it. all very gentle. He definately ate it as he now has a very satisfying bump.

Have to admit i was a bit concerned that he wouldnt get a large mouse through that tiny mouth but thats what he has been fed on before i got him and it wasnt too big for his girth but his head just looks so tiny to me compared to chilli, wish he hadnt of hidden so i could of watched! Im thinking chilli might need something a bit bigger than a large mouse....whats my next move up from large? Is there any bigger mice?

from what I've read i think rat pups or weaners (can't remember which way round) are next up?

Extra large/jumbos mice are they next step up, or small weaners rats. I'd try get hold of the mice rater than the rats as you keep the same feeding routine of 10/14 days though although most corns don't even need jumbos, once there adults and eating large mice the girth rule doesn't apply really.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3

Hmm, i might leave her on large then and keep an eye on her weight, as long as she isnt losing weight i wont bother.
