Hi all, this is my first post and my Mum was wondering, once my snake (when I get it) is large enough to warrant a bigger viv would it be possible to house other animals eg, frogs with it, or would it just eat them??

Hi
Keep the snake on it's own.
If you want to keep frogs they need a totally different environment which you should research before you get one.
I'm fairy sure they need a terrarium and specific humidity needs.
Have a look on the anphibium site, via the homepage.
Hope that helps.

snakes are really opportunistic eaters.
if something looks like food and is moving, it won't be round for long
corns are usually solitary, mixing them with other snakes, let alone other species' is a bad idea :D
he'll get nothing out of being housed with other herps/phibs, but if you want other animals, why not look into bioactive substrate with beneficial mites and springtails?

The only possible thing you could house it with would be another corn snake.... And you shouldnt do that until their adults.

1.2 Corn Snakes
0.0.2 Yellow Rat Snakes
0.0.1 Yellow Rat/Corn Hybrid
