is a good sized snake, perhaps fuzzies arent enough. Maybe time to move up a size in food 2-3 ft snakes can normally take a small mouse quite easily. does the fuxxy leave a bump after feeding if not then will most likely take a small mouse.

at that size it shouldn't be a problem feeding him a small mouse - maybe instead try feeding him 2 fuzzys once a week to get him used to a bigger meal

That made me concerned too Simmy.

30c would be your warm end and 80c would be...on top of the kettle?

Mine are about the same age and length, I have only just got them home but have been advised to feed them, 1 large mouse or 1 small rat every 10 days.

That's about 23C cool end and 29C warm end. Using the 75f and 85f temps for conversion.

Just incase people don't want to convert... I'm bored just now, so thought I'd look.

my smaller corn charlie is roughly the same size and age as yours and is on 1 large mouse every 10 days, chilli my bigger girly is on a large mouse every 7 days cos she goes mental and tries to eat whatever comes near her viv if i leave her for 10 days. Whereas charlie just wont eat more often than once every 10 days. Im pretty sure your snakey could manage at least a small mouse once a week. he might be grumpy at being fed twice a week as he will constantly be digesting and they need to be left alone for that. Chilli likes to be left for 3 days after a meal or she will rattle and snap at you if she is disturbed but after 3 days she is fine. Charlie on the other hand just likes his 2 days, then has a poo then is happy to be handled again. They are all very different.

i definitely think bigger meals are the answer. He should easily take a small mouse and I reckon a medium mouse wouldn't be too much trouble either at that size.
