Willing to accept offers - together or separately - with or without vivs.

Can deliver within a 50 mile radius of Southampton - although a little towards petrol would be appreciated.

Adult Males are about £40-£45 on those morphs £100 each is way over the top thats more than shop prices. No offence meant but a private seller isn't going to get more than a shop charges. :-)

Thank you - it's been nearly 20 years since I bought and sold a snake (mine are all ancient) - I bought these at the weekend from a friend who is giving up snakes and was not sure what to charge.

OK - prices duly dropped to £40 each.

What the heck do I charge for a viv too (4 ft, with temp sensors, heatpads, habistat, lighting etc)?

Glad you found the forum ok!
But £100 is fine including a viv! its a bargain!
and considering shops charge £60 for hatchlings... and well over £200 for a 4ft viv not including accessories.
But if Gemsyork knows a shop that sells full set up and corns for £40-£45. Please tell, I'm there!!! :p
£40 is extremely good for a grown, tame healthy breed-able adult on its own.
But if you're looking for a quick sale then unfortunately they will have to go cheap :/

Didn't say with setup but setup is only with the pair as they live together not a setup each. You must use the wrong shops Nox £60 for a hatchling is madness unless its a high end morph. £150 for a pair with viv is about right, Corns seem not to be moving at the minute for some reason. If you look on other forums they are on there for next to nothing. :-(

Base your price on the fact that a brand new set up of 4Ft viv, thermostat, thermometer and heat mat can be had online for about £100. The biggest problem is transport. Unless a potential buyer lives locally, courier charges on top can really bump the price of a private sale. I'd say £150 was a reasonable expectation for everything as it seems to be a buyers market at the moment.

Good luck, hope you find a buyer soon.

Says complete set-up with each as well as saying they currently live together? Which is it?

Having seen a fair few ads come throught this site your looking at about £100-150 for 1 Snake + 1 Setup.

I have 3 four foot vivs to sell, so the snakes can go together with an extra wide 4ft viv, complete with all accessories or they can be split up and sold with a fully set up viv each.

I can then sell the extra wide viv separately.

Ok I will ask eighty quid per snake including standard 4ft viv simply because I need a quick sale.

Or £160 for the two together with the extra wide 4ft viv.

To be honest, I think that is a steal.

Snakes are healthy and tame and the vivs are in excellent condition.

She did mention it Gemsyork, but that's splitting hairs.
And its not the "wrong shops" or "madness" but unfortunately there are about 2 decent rep shops in a 50 mile radius! So the prices are high, but the shop owners are decent, experts and friends of mine. It is a business, they need to make a living especially in this climate, so its fair enough in my opinion.

That is a steal debbzz! I wish I could steal it! good luck with your sale

sounds like the 2 in the 50 mile radius are taking advantage of that fact ... it's all good that they have to make a living but being greedy isn't the way to go ...

Keep on track is not another my shop is dearer than your shop. Is a classified not anything else here.
