After asking in 2 different rep store about haveing two snake together and being advised it was 100 percent ok. I got two similar size corns yearlings not hatchies. But sex un known, whilst it appeared they got on and did not harm each other, they continuously tried to be in the same place at the same time. I was also told that they would not breed until they were 3 years old. 3 week went by and I had started ready mixed reviews about it all. I made the choice to divide the viv. I sought an expert to sex them, they are indeed opposite sexes. I bought a whole new set up and they do not behave any differently now than they did they still meet during handlings. It appears that (from my experience and my opinion) they purely just tolerate each other. I would consider cohabing again but only the same sex and in the situation I can monitor them properly. My two both continued to eat poo a grow well. So from this I make my opinion that only adult or sub adults of the same sex and similar size should cohab. Thanks for reading x |

i must admit i have got two female together and a male in a seperate viv. i think your alright with females together however when you put two males together they will test each other by head battling. by this i mean putting their necks together and pushing each other till one gives in. if u have 1 male and 1 femalr then when their at the age and weight and size that it is safe to breed then i wud say u'd be ok but not before with the opposite sexes |

I've got to add I'm afraid that I think cohabbing of a mating pair is probably more dangerous. They're not sociable animals, and dont spend time with each other in the wild. The males pester the female for sex, and this can stress them out given time.. |

Indeed plus with young girls laying eggs can stunt growth, stress of a male in the same place and cause her to be egg bound. No point hatching the eggs really most of the time as no-one wants them and if you chuck them your just kinda letting the girl running the risk of being egg bound for nothing. |
