I prefer to feed out of faun, but if you dont, best to put down kitchen roll under mouse so dont swallow substrate

I feed out of the viv too for reasons above lol though lately Artemis doesnt like feeding outside her viv so i push all the substrate to one side and leave her mouse in the hide if she doesnt take it via a strike on her branch (which is how she usually takes them lol)

i just use an old 9 litre rub even my 3 and a half ft sub adult manages ok in that lol when you move them back just be very gentle and be sure to make sure theyve kinda snapped out of feed mode cause a few of mine straight after feeding are super responsive to any kinda movement lol so i wait till theyve calmed down a bit and the foods about half way down then i gently pick up the back end and support the front end and place them back in the viv ive never had a problem doing it this way lol

Depends on the snake, can't say I've had a problem with a corn before like that though. Normally when they are done eating I put them back although you could always wait 10-20 mins if your worried.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3

I feed out of the viv. I never lift them after they've eaten, just put the feeding tub into the viv and take the lid off and let them come out when ready

As Sta~ple says its snake dependant. I feed all my corns out of their vivs/tubs,but a couple of my hatchies were fed for the first month or so in their enclosures as they they wouldn't feed otherwise. Now they've settled more theres no issues at all.
I gently lift mine out of their feeding tubs and put them back in their enclosure once the food item has reached about halfway down their bodies and they start moving about again, making sure I don't handle the area where the food is.

With my lot I usually lift out and feed on the lid of a spare box. Maybe have a bit of a play with them and take a couple of photographs then feed. Always give them time to get the mouse down properly before moving them back.

To get them back I just offer the lid up to the open viv and let them find there own way back to their hidey-hole. If you have a smaller snake, do as Hissyfit suggests and place the feeding tub back in the viv.

Always leave the snake alone after feeding for at least a day or two to give them time to digest. Usually I leave them until they decide to come out of the hides themselves before handling.
