I was cleaning Pendulum out last night and noticed he doesn't really seem to be growing, as my dad was doing Chilli at the same time I asked him to compare their sizes, and Chilli is far far bigger, they are roughly the same age (if anything Pendulum is older) and he doesn't seem to be growing.
I know snakes all grow at ifferent rates and whatnot, they have always been fed the same size food, but recently he just doesn't seem to be growing.
I was comparing some pictures taken in September, compared to ones I took earlier on today, it may just be me, but he doesn't seem to be.
And although the food is more than ample as it leaves a nice bump in his belly, I feel guilty as if I'm underfeeding him, but don't want to risk over feeding him either.
Anyone got any advice, whether I should maybe feed more or a bit more regularly?
Or is it totally normal?
Below are some pictures, the top two were taken in September, and the bottom two were about an hour ago.

What size do you feed him, and how often?

I've forgotten what size they are because I usually buy quite a lot per visit, pretty sure they are small mice though.
And he gets fed every 7 days, same as all the others, who's growth rate I'm happy with.

He looks a bit big to be still on smalls, in fact I think Spot is about that size and he is pounding down large mice every 7 days. That wont be forever but he is growing so I think he needs the food at that schedule, I do notice that as Spot gets bigger his growth slows until I up the food intake then its growth spurt time again.

It may not be small mice, but the food leaves a nice lump in him one way or the other anyway, but he just seems to have stopped growing for the past few months.
I am thinking about switching him to rats though (he will eat anything offered) and see if that helps, I just don't want him to become fat.

How much does he weigh? It often puts peoples minds at rest to see them gaining weight even if they dont appear to be growing much especially in length. He looks fine to me, same sort of size of my two CB Aug 10 and like yours my two seem to have slowed right down in growth. As long as he is eating and pooping fine I would not be to concerned. Maybe he is just not going to be a 5ft plus corn :)

I'm not too bothered if he doesn't grow much as long as he's healthy, I haven't actually weighed him, and he hatched from his egg 4th September.
I will weigh him as soon as he's come out of shed (he is a fairly flighty snake at the best of times but a lot worse in shed)
I'll post up his weight.
Anyone got any kind of scale to what he should be roughly?...

There isn't one, quite deliberately, they are all different. I forgot to mention that he looked good and healthy in the photos, looks very well.

He doesn't ever seem lathargic or anything like that either like he is starving or anything, he seems happy and healthy, I'd just hate to be underfeeding him for the sake of not just asking and getting advice about it.
I know they all weigh different and things too, but if I post his weight up, how will I know if it's normal?

I'd try him on a medium mouse for his next feed. I've noticed Voldemort isn't having the same growth spurts, but getting thicker rather than longer, he's the same age as Pendulum and been on mediums for several months now

He looks a good healthy weight on the photo's. I have 4 2010's that have recently moved up to mediums, some earlier than others though due to their personal sizes.
Loki just appears to grow and grow no matter what I feed him,he's a lot longer than my other snakes. Ofelia, although the same in girth is a fair bit shorter which kinda gives her a plump look compared to him. They all vary a fair bit in weight too.

Well he is a September 2010 so quite late on in the year, so I guess I was more worried than I should be.
If others have some around the same size then everything should be fine.
What do people think to switching him from mice to rats, as obviously they have more nutrition?

I wouldn't bother changing to rats if there isn't a problem with mice. Some Corns will refuse them point blank. You would be better to just step up the size of the mouse to medium and see how it goes.
