You can use any thermostat with a heat mat/mats and as long s you dont exceed its maximum wattage then it will be fine. Pulse and dimming are the 2 most accurate but if its just a few mats then a mat-stat will do the job just fine. |

You can, and lots of people do, although others advise against it in case the mat with the thermostat probe packs up and the other one goes sky high.
If you do, you need to turn off the 1st mat and allow it to cool down to room temp so it's the same temp as the second mat, then plug them both in together, otherwise the 1st mat will always be right and the second one always too cold. |

you can aslong as the mats have the same wattage, otherwise if you have one that is at 28 a lower wattage one may be at 23 on te same power, if that makes sense. this is what happened when i tested one of mine. i now have 3 stats and 3 vivs, its the same amount of plugs either way. x |

as said above as long as the heat mats are the same wattage. I use more than 1 mat with my stats and in my experience you need to have simular set ups for the tempretures to be the same and i would advise you to regulary check the temps. :) |
