Hi could anybody give me a few possible reasons as to why my corn would Regurge her meal about 36 hours after eating? She's on fluffs and this particular one was a little bigger than she normally eats but managed to eat it anyway... She was fed Friday afternoon and my girlfriend forget she had been fed and got her out yesterday afternoon which we think could maybe be the reason why but wouldn't she have regurgitated it almost straight away? She did it early hours of this morning... Temps are normal and the other corn that's in there with her has kept her meal down.

Any replies appreciated

Ok, I just assumed that if you handle too soon the regurge would happen straight way not hours later?

Yeah we have 2 in the same viv, we brought them that way, they've been together since hatchlings till now... They're about 8/9 months now.

As you have had a regurge. I would recomend seperating them. As you will need to feed one and not the other and will cause probs x

there also getting up to the age where breeding would not be impossible, if you do have one of each sex it could seriously harm the female even possibly killing her. Just think of a male yearling as a horny teenager

We dont know for definite what sex they are and have every intention of separating them if they're one of each but from what I've read and been told we cant have them sexed yet?

If you have 2 unsexed corns, you should seperate and then introduce them back if they are the same sex when they are bigger x

Mine were sexed as yearlings.

If you have two opposite sexed corns probing them should be 80 percent sure. But I would seperate until a lot bigger when probing and its should be more accurate. X

mine were 18" when probed by a vet. if you are unsure then you can only asume the worst and that they are opposite, so you should house them as if its the worst outcome. seperatly.

You've been misinformed, recently had a couple of mine sexed (probed) both 9months, absolutely no problem if done properly.

you don't need a vet to sex them, a good reptile shop or breeder should be able to do it for you, a vets will charge, i had mine sexed in a reptile shop and they didn't charge for it, if they do, will be a couple quid at the most
