hi all :)

So I'm hoping to get 3 hatchlings at donny in september, if i go that is.

But thinking along the lines of what to put them on, if the unit the fauns were on was made of pine would it be too close for them to be near pine or will it be ok?

Thx

Scaly

You could put something thick on top of the pine. Or put them somewhere else.

3 hatchlings, (i take it one is going to be an amel stripe) are you sure you will only walk away with 3? I am going with the intention of getting one but know I will probably come away with one or two more ;)

The problem with it I think is the 'fumes' or sap, combine the natural breathing of pine in a relatively small area like a viv with a heatmat to speed up the process and you've got yourself a horrible toxic airflow in your viv.

I reckon if your unit is varnished and well established in the house it should be fine, but stick a tablecloth over it to be sure.
