Hello, I got rusty yesterday and he looked happy exploring all around his viv. But today he hasn't moved from the same position all day would there be a reason for this?? |

as said above he's just settling in, its best to leave them for 1 week (no handling, no feeding just daily water changes) as its a stressfull period especially for hatchlings/juveniles also corns are not very active during the day and in the wild hunt at night so this is when your most likely to see them, and even then some are very secretive. hope this helps :) |

Frank will usually just sit in the same place for days on end if he had the chance. Fred is the opposite, its like he has lived on blue smarties all of his life. |

Ara sits in the same position all day but does a brief lap of the faun in the evening and comes out to play whenever really (that's when Ara is most active). (Ara is currently wedged, asleep, in the inside of a cardboard tube which came from some tinfoil.)
Ginn sleeps most of the day (kingsnake) but then wakes up and goes CRAZY, parading around her viv, climbing the glass, nudging around the edges to see if she can escape, doing a sexy dance and showing off her belly (we don't know her gender but are pretty sure she's ~18months old.)
Aysha (boa) sleeps all damn day and comes out to explore at around 8pm each night - she's in her week of no play time right now so I don't know how she will be eventually.
Amazing the various snakey personalities out there, but they're all as lovely as each other. |
