so, my corn began to shed his skin. the scales went almost gittery and dusty, eyes went blue. woke up today to find that his eyes are normal again and his skin seems be back to normal too? what the hell? i bathed him briefly and have made sure theres a slight "misting" on the side of his box. i dont know if he/me have messed the whole process up some how? he's even eaten while in this stage this morning when i noticed it all. help!

he's not shed yet, he has just gone through "blue" - this is where his eyes will go blue and his colour in his skin goes very faded... once this clears up they'll normally shed within a couple of days :)
Slash normally does the whole process in about 5 days but he's taking his time this month! He was in blue for almost a full week and cleared up yesterday so with any luck he'll shed about wednesday :) |

| oh really.. i did read up about it before posting as i hate to look stupid, but, with every comment saying it was normal, there was another to match it saying it wasnt, so where best to ask... thank you though. youve bann a great help and stress settler. :D |

| no problem at all, there's no stupid questions - better to ask and be safe than keep quiet and something goes wrong! I'm fairly new on here myself so there's plenty i still read and if i'm not sure i ask - had to ask about shedding myself this week as Slash has always gone through blue and then shed in the space of 5-6 days, this time around he's been in blue for a week and i wasn't sure if something was up :) |
