Hey, I hope I'm posting this in the right section?
I'm interested in getting a Coral-bellied Ring-necked Snake because they're just beautiful and by far the best snake I've seen.
I'm just wondering, because they're not very big what would you keep them in? I'm not the most experienced snake owner, the only snake I have I got from almost fully grown, so I don't have much experience with small or young snakes.
So I'm just wondering what would you keep this snake in? What sort of hides would it require? Plus where could I find them? Would my local Reptile shop help me hunt one down or something? And how would you store their food? Because they eat stuff like worms right? |

I think feeding could be a bit of a problem. As well as worms they eat tadpoles, lizards and slugs. I doubt if a diet of just worms would be a healthy balanced diet.
You will need to do a bit more research on feeding and housing regarding temperature and humidity requirements. From a quick search they appear to be a shy secretive type and you might not see much of it during the day.
You might be better off starting with a young Corn Snake to gain a bit of experience in raising a snake. They are readily availabe and there is plenty of help available around here on the forum.  |

Okay thanks, and yeah I think I should do a bit more research first.
And lol It's a corn snake that I already have, she's been nothing but a bitch to me since I've had her. She's been fairly aggressive but she's calming down a bit, and she refuses to eat mice.. She'll only eat ratpups, after I've trying to many techniques to try get her to feed my local reptile shop have taken her for a bit to try get her to feed, she's so stubborn!!
What other kind of snakes are easy like that to take care of and stuff?

| Corns,kings,royals and milks are all really considered to be beginner species my understanding is that milks can be fussy youngsters though? how true that is ive no clue i dont have any but would like some lol shame to hear that your corns a bit agressive usually they are renowned for their placidness lol |
