Hi, i've just noticed that my 18 inch baby hypo bloodred corn snake seems to have what i can only call a dead tail, the last 0'5 cm is withered, dry and at an angle, he's so small and fragile i imagine hes done it while shedding last week, he's fine in himself and it doesn't seem to bother him at all. Will he be ok and is there anything i can do?
Wouldn't happen just in one week, would happen from a build up of tail tips on the shed over a number of weeks/months, dont think there's anything you can do, better wait till someone else comes along

Dont do anything just leave it. It will drop off in the end but if u try and pull it off you can do more damage and more injurys if u tamper with it. Just keep an eye on it for when it does drop of. Just make sure it dont look infected. Change the bedding to news paper so you can check to make sure it bleeds clean(if it bleeds) and u can check for puss aswell.
