I don't think I'll be getting him to strike again though as it makes him a little foul tempered towards me as well 
Little so an so bit me when I was trying to put the hides back in the viv. I took them out as I had intended to feed him out the viv but Sakana decided she wanted to go in the feeding box this time so he got fed in the viv while she was in the feeding box. So when I went to reconstruct the decor around him like I always do with Sakana he went "S" and struck at my hand as I was putting the warm hide back in for him to go and lay in to digest. And I assure you, the mouse was dead. Despite how alive it looks, it was just a fresh one from my friend. She breeds them so she brought 2 over and pre-killed them here so they were still warm. Which is why the snakes struck at the warm bodies. Sakana is perfect, even after strike feeding. I had to move her while she still had it's tail hanging out and it never bothered her. Whereas Cereus I couldn't put my hand near him without him going into an "S" and striking it... |
