Well Lola went into blue last Monday, 17/12/12 & i noticed she was looking very dull when i took her out to feed, 3 pinks btw!!! So i have left her alone most of the week & when i got home from work today she had shed & is looking super shiney & bright!! Also is now 18 grams & about 50cm according to the shed skin.

The last two pics are nice! (Well, they all are!)

She looks quite big in that tank, but the wrap-around pic is cute, unless you're a huuuuuge monster haha!

I like inspecting my lots sheds :)

If she can manage 3 pinks put her on fluffs now, it's advised no more than 2 in one sitting :) weight will fly on when she moves up too!

There is a website that you upload pics of snake on, with an item you know measurement of and guides you to getting a size, I think it's called serpwidgets? Google it

Thanks Serena, Lola is my 1st snake & it was her 1st shed at home, so it's all really new & exciting for me. She is in a 18" viv at the moment, & was hopefully going to be getting a 3' viv from my girlfriend's sister's boyfriend after Xmas, so i can get it cleaned & ready for her to move into in the next couple of months if she keeps growing at this rate!!! Thanks for the advice to move her onto fluffs, will do that as soon as she has finished the last of the pinks i have in the freezer for her. =o)

Aw wow it's so cool to see your young 'un with her. a friend of mine used to have snakes as a kid and now she has a daughter so is eager to bring her over to see my baby when he's all settled! It's lovely to see kids so comfortable with them! I know so many people who are scared of them (my mum included) but I can't understand why! They're such beautiful critters!!

I wasn't so lucky. Mine had their first shed yesterday. I had to help both out and am planning on upping the humidity somehow.

I am a bubbling vat of pure knowledge.

My Kitty looked as if she was going to have a bad shed yesterday so I damped a flannel (they have their own!) and put it all folded inside a hide at the hot end, moved all other hides out and, voila, this morning a perfect shed!! Had meant to get moss for her but she caught me out!!

A damp flannel on the hot end hide will do a great job if it's not possible to use a moss hide. It's not the end of the world if they don't do a complete shed. We can help if the shed isn't complete so try not to worry.
