Hi all. Recently bought my first snake, a 2 year old corn, from Wharf Aquatics in Notts. Very pleased with him and likely to be needing lots of advice as I go along.

I bought the blood red. He's very good natured and doesn't seem to mind being handled at all. Unfortunately I'd handled him a couple of times before I read about leaving to settle in for 7 days. I left him alone for a while after that. He's had afeed. That was very quick and easy. He seems to spend nearly all of his time in his hide, though. A few days ago he went very milky. I exopected he was about to shed so left him alone. It happened a couple of days before his feed was due so I missed that feed out. That would have been last Friday. He'snow back to normal colour but I can't see any shed skin. I'm giving him a couple more days before I disturb him though. Is all this normal? Oh yeah. I'll try to sort some pictures soon when I know he's ok.
