I appear to have a new addition. Meet Otto Octavius, or just Octavius if female. He/she is a Grammastola pulchripes (Chaco Golden Knee) and at about 2 inches has a lot of growing to do yet

Thought he'd escaped for a horrible moment, till I turned his hide over after looking under it and finding he was on the other side lol

Already got some lovely golden colouration showing

Haha cheers. Its a case of grim determination (especially in the case of Ruby the ratbag ha!) Although this one will the beast size wise once its adult! I'm still on the wary side but a hell of a lot better than I was a year ago so I'm slowly getting there I think.
Sure Katie would jump at the chance NOT!

Octavius has taken his first feed for me Mega chuffed as I had some heartache over the weekend due to losing Marjorie my big girl and it had knocked my confidence somewhat

There was no messing about when it came to hunting the little roach down

Cool pics, not too keen on spiders. But never say never, I can remember saying i would never have a snake and just put a deposit on another, can't help myself,...love them loads :)

Haha it made me realise I am slowly getting better with them as I didn't freak out when it dawned on me where he must be. I would have had a fit last year lol!

Haha Sarajoanne I'm an arachnophobe and a bad one at that! Snakes are amazing aren't they. I bet you won't stop at 2 either!
