Hi everyone, so today I got Trevor out to feed him as usual, and to my suprise he's in blue! The reason it's a suprise is because he only shed last month, usually he sheds at least every 8 weeks or so, sometimes longer. He's about 20 months old, he hasn't had any injuries or scale damage or anything like that to make him shed more frequently. So I'm just assuming he's having a bit of a growth spurt Is it normal for them to have growth spurts every so often?

Thanks

I think it is, especially in spring... my Little T ( same age as yours ) has done exactly the same with his last shed, and he's blue again ( this time because of scale damage in several places, from constant roaming ).

As the others have said, Alice, it is totally normal for young snakes to put on a growth spurt, especially if you've recently moved Trevor up a food size. It shows how well he's doing....and how well you're doing .
