I got to go to Chester zoo today with work and thought I'd share some of my better pictures Red tailed racer

Retic
Poison dart frog

Garter snake (think I might have to have one of these one day)

Mangrove (the best picture I've ever taken )

and finally I had to share this little cutie

sorry for the picture overload |

Lovely, and nice shot of the little elephant bubba!
I'm starting to think that retic is stuffed, when I was there, he was in exactly the same place, then someone else put their photos up, with the retic up the tree again, and now you got to see him up that tree, too! :-) |

Nice pictures, especially the little 'phant Hope you had a good day. I was rather taken by the garter snakes too, they're quite pretty.

Looks like you had a great day Louise . Love the pic of the Mangrove....I'm not surprised you're proud of it . I just can't get over the colour of the Poison Dart frog !! Are you sure you haven't photo-shopped it ??!!

I had a great day thanks, my knee was rather swollen and sore from all the walking but totally worth it! I was amazed at the color of the Dart frog the pic doesn't do justice to the contrast between the two shades of blue. The little elephant was so funny, he was playing in the water and you could see he really wanted one of the other little ones to come and play with him as he kept running out and trying to convince them to join him. If you've not been to Chester I fully recommend it, it's a great day out and they have some really nice animals and enclosures only down side is its so big its hard to see every thing in one day. |
