Hi all, I'm Paul I'm a disabled father of 3 with a wonderful wife, we live in Leicester and are pet mad lol, We have, Bonnie - 7 year old Staff, Bill - 1 year old Hamster, Poppy - 1 year old Rabbit, Sherbert - juvenile Spurthighed Tortoise, And now Jake my 18 month/2 year old male?? Corn Snake.
I hope to have more Corns in the future, I love Snakes but my wife isn't too sure but She's getting to like Jake so with a bit of luck She may agree to a couple more at a later date [watch this space lol]
I am a complete newbie to keeping snakes so I may well be asking a few questions along the way both on here and on the Facebook page.

Hi Paul. Welcome to the forum. You've come to the right place for all things cornsnake! Have a look at the caresheet and read the stickies for some very good information. Please ask any questions....remember there's no such thing as a daft question. Great to have you on board, enjoy it here.
Hi I am much like you lol. Disabled mother of 3, hubby not overly keen on reptiles but obviously knows its what keeps me happy You will find everyone here is lovely and helpful and friendly hope you will be uploading some pics of your critters at some point!
I will upload pics as soon as I can, I will have to figure it out first lol. Paul...

Hi Paul. I'm another one in a fairly similar situation....as you've seen there are quite a few of us. Kellog, Silvi and Asher are my 'snake therapy' . This is a great forum with lots of experienced owners happy to give their advice and support. You also get lots of fun and friendship .
I echo what Herriotfan says about questions! The only silly question is the one you don't ask . If you can't find the info you need using the search option then don't hesitate to pick our brains. We all started somewhere and we're all still learning....even those who don't like to admit it .
As for putting up pics, good luck! Photobucket is playing up , but if you do what it says in the stickies in the photo section you'll hopefully be able to work it out. You can also load pics using Facebook, but I don't have a clue how .
You'll find we're very nosy....ok, I'm very nosy . How long have you had Jake? Do you know what morph he is? Keeping corns is definitely addictive and I'm sure your wife will be won over by Jake in no time....and will probably want a corn of her own !
I'd be tempted to show your wife lots of pictures of all the cute hatchlings on the forum, then take her to a nice reptile shop or a breeder, and let her hold a baby corn snake... it won't be long, before se is converted :-)
Hiya and welcome :) Snakes are addictive - I originally got one as a Christmas present for my son (well that's one way of getting myself a snake :P). Now we have 5 between us and hubby is looking about for another - he thought it would only be me who wanted more but no, he got caught by the addiction too, so I'm sure your wife will before too long as well lol!
