Awwwwww. They're gorgeous! I hadn't seen pictures of cresties hatching before and I'm surprised at how big they are in comparison to the eggs, they must really be 'cosy' fits by the end.

Oh my - first thing I thought was - how did the head fit in that egg - is there any room for the rest of the body :-0 - compared to a tiny corn hatchie head poking out. They are so cute..

That was actually quite a big egg, the other was smaller, guess that's why it was in a rush to get out. The blue dotted egg is about 3-4 week old so will start grow soon, that's 2 more due in June

I've never seen pics of cresties hatching before either and really did a double-take with your first pic !! They are lovely little things, so perfect ....although I agree with Scottishbluebird, that crestie looks as though it was so desperate to get its big head out that it hadn't fully 'coloured up' before it hatched .
