| All my equipment arrived earlier than expected and my viv has been running steady with temps ranging from 28 c to 29 c for around half a week.So today we went to the local pet shop for a look and fell for a very striking 8 month old Amel corn,so placid and inquisitive in the shop.After a chat with the owner Vasuki as he/she is now known came home with us and is now being left alone to settle in |

Congrats on the new arrival and may I just say well done for doing it all so sensibly, it's nice to see someone being thoroughly prepared before they bring their new snake home

| Thanks all, although the wife wasn't to impressed when i added up all the money we spent over the past few weeks. just over £154(i hate paying full price) not inc Vasuki, but who can put a price on happiness |

Congrats, looking forward to the pics, and don't worry, after the initial investment (viv, thermostat, thermometer, actual snake, etc.) corns aren't expensive pets to keep - their food is cheap and their heating doesn't take as much energy as you might think :)
