My snake has gone very shy not coming out of his hide for several days now. When I have spotted him he has gone very dull with cloudy eyes so I am expecting him to shed just wondered if this is normal behaviour for him to be so reclusive? Thanks

Absolutely normal, I don't see any of mine from several days before they go dark, till they've shed. Don't forget, his colours will come back to normal first, so it will look like he'd already shed - but he won't have. He will stay "clear " for several days, and then will shed... :-)
