can anyone help me.my snake jake is acting weird he is refusing to use his hide and is lying outside with the right side of his mouth open.there is no discharge from his mouth or nose.hope someone can help.many thanks

Can you hear any clicking noises if you hold him close to your ear?
Is he yawning a lot?
What are your temps like?
Has he got plenty of water?
Is he normally a snake that will happily spend time in the open or always a hider?
The answers to these questions could help us point you in the right direction....

Can you see any substrate stuck in there? If you unsure what it is a vet may be your best option.
