16.4 g is a medium mouse - or was it a rat fuzzy? I'm guessing, from her age and size, that she'd be ok fed on large mice :-). Cleo is gorgeous, by the way - lovely orange, congrats :-)

Wouldn't feed mediums any sooner than 7 days

Sounds like she enjoyed it . Totally agree with Gmac about feeding weekly with mediums. Anything more than that is too often and unnecessary. This thread on feeding may give you some tips - http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=27833

Ah, that's ok :-) . As gmac said - every 7 days is good, mediums take a bit longer to digest. Cleo looks to be in very nice condition, just right, not fat, not thin. At 2 years old, she's still growing, but it will slow down a bit. Here's a rough guide I've been using for my snakes:

Snake's weight: Mice and mice weight: Frequency:

4-15 g 1 x pinkie 1-3g every 5-6 days
16-23 g 2 x pinkie 2x 1-3g every 5-6 days
24-40 g 1 x fuzzie 4-6 g every 6-7 days
41-70 g 1 x hopper, or 2 fuzzies every 6-7 days
at 10 - 12 g
71-130g 1 x small 12-14 g every 6-7 days
131-200g 1 x medium 15 - 20 g every 7 days
201-300g 1 x large 20 - 25 g every 7 - 10 days
306-500g 1 x XL 25 - 30 g every 10 - 14 days
501 + 1 x Jumbo every 10 - 14 days

This is a very rough guide only - it needs to be adjusted according to yours snakes condition, whether it's still growing or needs to loose weight... for example, I feed my 3 year old, 41/2 foot, and almost 600g male, who is starting to look chubby, only every 2 weeks on 1 large mouse, and NOT on Jumbo, as he would soon become massive.
My other 3 year old has to be fed weekly, he was a re home, and is about half the weight of my other male, and really active, so he gets a large mouse weekly, and looks lean and keen :-)

Also, mice weights and sizes wary according to who produces/ sells them, some don't sell XL, they go from L to Jumbo, so it's best to go by the weight of the mouse...

Hope this helps :-)
