My snow corn Gil died a few months back and I just wanted to share his last pics with you all. He was about 2 1/2 years old.

I'm not 100% sure how or why he passed away. At first I though he had drowned because I found him in his water dish, head fully submerged but I have asked around and have been told it might have been a seizure (?) The baffling thing was that he was perfectly fine the night before. One thing that did concern me was that even though he had no problems feeding he seemed quite small for his age.

That must have been so tough for you Puffin . I hope you had people around you who understood he was more than 'just a snake'. I can't help you as to a reason why he died but snakes grow at very different rates so he wasn't necessarily small for his age. My Storm is about the same age and I know others that are double his weight already.

I'm not a fan of red-eyes but he really was a lovely looking snake.i love the stronger peach markings on his head.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing these precious photos with us.

Xxx
