Does anyone know whether Sisal Rope can be used safely in a Corn Snake Vivarium to make hanging ropes for the snake to use to climb?

I would be wary of both. You need to ascertain whether the rope has been treated.
Sisal rope is often treated with oil based chemicals to make it resistant to rot.
