Is it normal for a corn to eat as usual but still lose weight ? ( talking of a few grams in a week between feeds ) |

basically no it's not normal, though you'd expect them to lose a few grams after they've 'emptied' themselves....... |

Two fuzzies? :O Oh no have I been underfeeding Bella? She's about 8 months old now and has been on 1 fuzzy every 5 days for the past six feeds. She only has a slight bulge when she's eaten. |

my yearlings were all on small mice by a year old, but DO determine the prey item size by the snake's size |

I'll offer her two on the next go and do it every week instead of every five days? What do you think o Wise One? The fuzzies I have are only a wee bit wider than her. |

lol i'd probably stick to every 5 days till a year old but when you first increase the size of the meal stretch it to 7 days then work back down to 5. have you got a male or female IP? by about 3 years i'm feeding males every 10-14 days and females weekly... |

it won't harm a male to be fed weekly, it's just they don't need to be, their metabolism is slower |
