I also looked into that for around this way as well, unfortunately, to do it properly is a LOT harder than I thought. It's health and safety, plus local councils, plus checks on the venue etc. Some councils require that a reptile specialist vet and/or rspca checks are made as well.
Can we not gather at someone's house then? (I can volunteer mine - I'm in Southampton :D:D:D) Maybe bring a few spare heat mats and travel viv's/fauns as a stop-gap measure to 'heat'?!
