Hi all, been browsing this site for the past month or so, drinking in information about corns before i got one.
I bought my lovely Cinders just over three weeks ago and she's settling in fine.
She's a hypo bloodred and i just want to know the difference between a normal bloodred and a hypo bloodred?

Hypomelanism (Hypo) is a gene that reduces the melanin (black) in a snake.

Hmmm Im starting to sound really dumb, but seeing as she'll turn red when she grows up anyway, will the hypomelanistic gene have any effect on her? like will she be a lighter shade of red?

Yes she will be a lighter brighter red. But won't necesarily become all red you may still be able to see the saddles.
